Description:

This step involves understanding the importance of the invisible world and how it influences our lives.

Implementation:

  1. Acknowledge that the invisible world exists and has a significant impact on our reality.
  2. Realize that just because something is invisible doesn’t mean it’s not there; invisibility is a matter of perception.
  3. Consider that the invisible world is the true reality, and the physical world is a manifestation of it.

Specific Details:

  • Emphasize that perceiving the invisible world is essential for a deeper understanding of life.
  • Avoid dismissing the invisible world as less real than the physical world.

Step 2: Prioritizing Principles Over Comfort

Description:

This step involves prioritizing principles and purpose over comfort and earthly pleasures.

Implementation:

  1. Reflect on your values and principles that guide your life.
  2. Understand that your calling and purpose should take precedence over momentary comfort and pleasures.
  3. Be willing to endure difficulties and sacrifices for the sake of your principles.

  • Emphasize that placing value on your relationship with a higher purpose can outweigh material wealth.

Step 3: Seeing the Invisible

Description:

Perception of the Invisible

Have you ever been blown away by something that you saw, and when I say blown away, like thrown off guard, off kilter, out of balance, it just made you feel like your whole world was rocked, and you felt like this is so terrible or this is so big or this is bigger than me? I submit to you that there’s more going on than what you see when that happens. See, I want to talk to you about this subject just because you can’t see it doesn’t mean it’s not there. So, a lot of people make the mistake of thinking that something being invisible is the same as it not being there, but invisibility is not an absence of substance; it’s just an absence of your perception of the substance.

It’s amazing that it says in Hebrews 11:3, “By faith, we understand that the worlds plural were framed by the word of God so that the things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.” Colossians, I think it’s Chapter 1, tells us that all things were made by Him, both visible and invisible. Don’t make the mistake of thinking that invisible things are not there. In fact, I would take it a step further and say that one of the biggest mistakes you can make in your life is to go through life thinking that physicality is reality and invisibility is not reality. People say, “I’m not talking about the invisible world; I’m talking about the real world.” I believe that when you say that, you are confused because the reality is the invisible world is the real world, and the physical world is nothing more than a manifestation of that invisible world.

Now, having said all of that, I’m going to read from Hebrews Chapter 11 and verse number 24. It says, “By faith, Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter.” There’s a whole lot in that statement because the son of Pharaoh’s daughter would have been the prince, right? Your grandfather is the king, your adopted grandfather is the king. He’s not just the king of any old country; he’s the king of the greatest country in the world. And he refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter, choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season. So to Moses, his calling was more important than his comfort, his purpose was more important than his pleasures, his destiny was more important to him than his delicacies. And until we become people of principles, then we’re going to be tossed around by every whim that drives our emotions.

So, it says, “Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season, esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt, for he had respect unto his recompense of reward.” What does that mean? That means he viewed his relationship with God as being more valuable than all of his earthly treasures, and he basically had everything. It’s really interesting to me a lot of times, Christian people will say, “Well, the Bible says I don’t really care about money because the Bible says I’ve learned whatsoever state I’m in, therewith to be content.” Yeah, but you missed the first part of that. The Apostle Paul, when he said that, he said, “I know how to be abased and how to abound, then he said, ‘I know whatsoever state I’m in, therewith to be content.’ If you’ve only been in a basement, and I don’t mean a basement like the room under a house, if you’ve only been in a state of being abased, and you’ve never abounded, you don’t know if you can be content in every state or not. You ain’t been in enough states to know.”

So it says, “Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt, for he had respect into his recompense of reward. By faith, he forsook Egypt, fearing not fearing the wrath of the king, for he endured as seeing Him who is invisible.” Let me ask you a question, how good are you at seeing the invisible? And I know what you’re thinking. You’re thinking, “Well, you can’t see the invisible.” No, no, no, no, no. Clearly, somebody can. Clearly, somebody can. In fact, I’m going to make an assertion that everything that you see in the physical world, and I’m not talking about people, I’m talking about stuff. I’m talking about this cup, talking about this phone, I’m talking about these glasses and this…

Perception of the Invisible (Continued)

doing. See, everything you see in the physical world existed in the invisible world before it ever showed up in the physical world. It first existed in the invisible realm of somebody’s mind. They got an idea, they could see the idea. If I have an idea in my head that I can see clearly, you can’t see that idea. And the reason you can’t see it is not because it’s not there; the reason you can’t see it is because you can’t perceive that idea.

People thought the whole idea of a personal computer was a stupid waste of time. I thought, I remember my youngest brother Derek back in the days of Prodigy and CompuServe. Some of you are like, “What’s that?” That was the internet before it became the internet, okay? It was bulletin boards and forums. Okay, back before computers had hard drives. My first computer didn’t have a hard drive. So I remember my brother telling me, my brother Derek, because he was in computer science, he was into technology. He’s like, “Myron, they’re going to have these malls on the computer, and you can go there and buy stuff.” And I said to him, “No, I didn’t.” Now, that was not something I could see. I said to him, I let these words come out of my mouth. I’m talking about words that are dumb as a box of rocks. Here’s what I said, “Why would somebody buy something on a computer when they can just go to the store and buy it?” Is that hilarious? I remember saying it; I remember thinking how ridiculous that idea was. And now 90% of the things I buy, I buy online.

That Sprinter van that we just bought yesterday, it showed up yesterday. I never saw it; I never met the person I bought it from. I’m in a Facebook group called Wholesale Car Club, and people sell cars in there all the time. This dude had the Sprinter. I’m like, “Oh, man, is that gone already?” “Yeah, it’s gone, but we got another one coming in. Can I put a deposit on the one that’s coming in a couple of weeks?” “Sure.” So I put a $5,000 deposit down, then I filled out the paperwork to finance the car, then I wired them $26,000 more dollars, and then somebody showed up with a van I’d never seen. I ordered it online, didn’t have to sit in a stupid dealership for hours filling out stupid paperwork. I didn’t have to do any of that stuff. So now, like 90% of the stuff I buy, I buy on the internet without ever walking into a store. In fact, I would prefer to never go into another store ever again.

But somebody saw that there would be a lot of people who are like I am now and a lot fewer people like I was then. So Jeff Bezos started this thing called Amazon. Not only do 90% of the stuff I buy, I buy online, but 90% of the sales I make and the money I make is generated on the internet. Somebody had to see that before it existed in order for it to exist. Are y’all tracking?

The scripture tells us the reason Moses was able to endure is because he saw Him who was invisible. He endured seeing Him who was invisible. And when he saw Him who was invisible, we’re talking about God, I’m sure some of y’all are going to have a hard time with this, but that’s okay. Just keep on listening; you’re going to be all right. When he saw the one that was invisible, he saw one that was more powerful than anybody who was visible. He saw one that was greater than anybody who was visible. He saw one that was richer than anybody that was visible. He saw one that was wiser than anybody that was visible. And so his perception of the invisible, immutable God gave him the strength to endure the discomforts of his calling.

See, what you see has more to do with where you look than it does with what’s there. I don’t even know if y’all picked up what I just put down. The reason you can’t see what’s there is because you’re looking in the wrong place. Do y’all know I’m going to tell you something? It’s probably going to mess it up for y’all from now on, but I’m going to tell you anyway. Magicians don’t know magic; they just know how to get you to look at what they’re not doing so you can’t see what they are.

Perception of the Invisible (Continued)

And so, I think it’s really interesting, your ability to achieve something that most people think is impossible, and you are currently thinking is impossible, is going to be in direct proportion to your ability to see the invisible things that are there that you do not currently perceive. And you’re going to have to train yourself, and you’re going to have to pray and ask God to show you the things that you cannot currently see.

I’m going to read a story to you because the things that were written a long time ago were written for our learning so that through patience and comfort of scripture, we might have hope. See, this building on the inside looks very different than it did when I first bought it, but it’s starting to look more and more like what I could see in my mind before it started looking like it looks. Are y’all picking up what I’m putting down? So, and if y’all want to know how it looked when we take a break, go over to the other side and see what that looks like; this looked exactly like that over there.

Okay, so let’s look at 2 Kings. This is one of my favorite stories in the entire Bible. 2 Kings, chapter 6, starting with verse number eight. This is a story about Elisha, his servant, and the king of Syria. This is a thing right here. It says, “Then the king of Syria warred against Israel and took counsel with his servants, saying, ‘In such and such a place shall my camp be.'” And the man of God sent unto the king of Israel, saying, “Beware that thou pass not such a place, for thither the Syrians are come down.” And the king of Israel sent to the place which the man of God told him and warned him of, and saved himself there, not once or twice. In other words, the king of Syria kept plotting to ambush the king of Israel, and Elisha, the man of God, because God revealed to Elisha that the king of Syria was doing this, Elisha, the prophet of Israel, told the king of Israel, “Don’t go there because if you do, the king of Syria is waiting there to ambush you.” And so he saved himself not once and not twice. So we know it happened at least three times.

Well, the king of Syria, do you understand warfare, espionage, double agents, infiltrating another person’s… okay, that’s what we’re talking about. So watch what happens. It says, “Therefore, the heart of the king of Syria was sore troubled for this thing, and he called his servants and said unto them, ‘Will ye not show me which of us is for the king of Israel? Which one of you is a double agent?’ I love this story.” And one of the servants said, “None, my Lord, O King, but Elisha, the prophet that is in Israel telleth the king of Israel the words that thou speakest in thy bedchamber.” What does that tell you? God hears everything; He knows your plans, and He spilled the beans on the evil plans of the king of Samaria to his enemy. Okay, y’all tracking? I can see it in your face.

And then it says, “And he,” the king of Syria, “said, ‘Go and spy where he is, that I may send and fetch him.’ And it was told him, saying, ‘Behold, he is in Dothan.’ Therefore, sent he thither horses and chariots and a great host. A great host is like a garrison; it’s like a battalion, a whole bunch of soldiers. Okay?” In verse 14, “And they came by night and compassed the city about.” So, here’s Elisha, and his servant is with him; he’s down in Dothan; they’re spending the night there. And then it says, in verse 15, “And when the servant of the man of God was risen early and gone forth, behold, a host compassed the city, both with horses and chariots. And his servant said unto him, ‘Alas, Master, what shall we do?'” He’s like, “Warning, warning! What are we going to do? We’re surrounded.”

Perception of the Invisible (Continued)

but we know they exist because we can perceive the cup and the liquid in it. Likewise, there is an invisible realm filled with spiritual realities that cannot be seen with our physical eyes, but they exist nonetheless. Your ability to see and operate in that spiritual realm, to perceive the invisible, is crucial in life.

Elisha’s servant couldn’t see the angelic army surrounding them until Elisha prayed for his eyes to be opened. Similarly, there are people in your life who cannot see what you see, who doubt your vision, and may even think you’re crazy. But you’re not crazy; you’re attuned to a different reality, a higher spiritual frequency.

When you’re focused on the enemy, it’s hard to see how you can win the fight. Elisha didn’t try to explain everything to his servant; he simply asked God to open his eyes, and that made all the difference. There are people who will never understand your vision until their eyes are opened by God.

In your life, trust in what you can see in the invisible realm. God can do miraculous things that defy human understanding. Just as molecules make up this physical cup and its contents, the spiritual realm holds the building blocks of the physical world. You may be surrounded by challenges, but remember, there’s more with you than against you. Don’t focus on the enemy; focus on the God who opens eyes and changes the game.

Your perception of the invisible is your key to achieving the seemingly impossible. Train yourself to see beyond the physical, pray for spiritual insight, and trust in the God who operates in the realm you cannot see. When you see the invisible, you can overcome any obstacle, and the enemy’s plans will be thwarted. Trust in God’s power and see the unseen.

Perception of the Invisible (Continued)

that people often mistakenly believe that a single factor is more important than it is and that this factor is what will determine their overall happiness or satisfaction. This single factor becomes their focus, and they exaggerate its importance.

For example, if someone asked you how happy you would be if you won the lottery, your immediate reaction might be to think it would bring you immense happiness. You’d focus on the sudden influx of money, the freedom from financial worries, and the opportunities it would open up. But Mark Conan’s research shows that people tend to overestimate the impact of such a windfall on their long-term happiness.

Similarly, when faced with challenges or problems, people often exaggerate the negative impact of those issues on their overall well-being. The focusing illusion causes individuals to fixate on specific aspects of their circumstances, leading to skewed perceptions of reality.

So, why am I telling you all this? Because the focusing illusion is a powerful reminder that our perception of reality is not always accurate. We tend to zoom in on one aspect of a situation, either positive or negative, and blow it out of proportion. This narrow focus can blind us to the broader picture and the invisible factors at play.

When you focus on your problems, challenges, or limitations, it’s like zooming in on a single pixel of a high-definition image. You miss the grander, more intricate design that surrounds it. The invisible aspects of your life—the love and support of friends and family, the opportunities that await, the potential for growth and change—are often overshadowed by the one thing you’re fixated on.

So, what can you do? Pray for the ability to see beyond the immediate challenges, to perceive the invisible blessings, and to understand that your current circumstances do not define your entire reality. Train yourself to look at the bigger picture and not get trapped by the focusing illusion.

Remember that God operates in the invisible realm, and His plans for your life are far greater than what you can currently see. Trust in His wisdom and guidance, and ask Him to open your eyes to the truth. When you shift your focus away from the illusion and towards the invisible realities, you’ll find clarity, purpose, and a deeper understanding of the true nature of your existence.

Perception of the Invisible (Continued)

David didn’t look like much in the eyes of others, but God saw something different. He saw a shepherd boy who had been trained to protect his sheep from lions and bears. He saw a young man who had a heart after God. He saw a future king.

David’s focus was not on the size of Goliath; his focus was on the size of his God. When he faced the giant, he didn’t see an insurmountable problem; he saw an opportunity for God to display His power. David’s perception of the invisible reality of God’s presence and strength allowed him to overcome the physical challenge in front of him.

So, what’s the lesson here? It’s about where you choose to focus your attention. If you constantly focus on your limitations, your problems, and the giants in your life, you’ll remain paralyzed by fear and doubt. But if you shift your focus to the invisible reality of God’s presence, His promises, and His power, you’ll find the courage and strength to face any giant that comes your way.

David wasn’t limited by his size; he was empowered by his faith in God. He knew that the invisible God he served was greater than any visible enemy he would encounter. And that’s the key to seeing the invisible: trusting in the reality of God’s presence and His ability to work in your life.

So, don’t let the focusing illusion blind you to the invisible truths that surround you. Don’t be fooled into thinking that the physical obstacles and challenges you face are insurmountable. God is with you, and He can do exceedingly, abundantly above all you can ask or think. When you align your focus with His reality, you’ll discover that nothing in this world is as important as it seems while you’re focusing on it.

Perception of the Invisible (Continued)

given the same opportunities as white people. I grew up in a time when racism was overt and pervasive. I grew up in a time when there were few role models who looked like me in the business world. But none of those external factors defined my destiny. What did define my destiny was my awareness of the invisible truth that God had a purpose for my life, and that purpose was not limited by my circumstances or the color of my skin.

You see, I didn’t focus on the barriers in front of me; I focused on the God who was within me. I didn’t see myself as a victim of my circumstances; I saw myself as a victor in Christ. I didn’t allow the world’s limitations to limit my perception of what was possible. I believed in the invisible truth that I was created for a purpose, and nothing could stand in the way of that purpose except my own limited awareness.

And that’s the message I want to leave you with today. Don’t let your external circumstances define your destiny. Don’t be blinded by the barriers that the world puts in front of you. Instead, focus on the invisible truth of God’s purpose for your life. Trust in His presence, His promises, and His power. When you align your awareness with His reality, you’ll see opportunities where others see obstacles. You’ll find solutions where others find problems. You’ll walk in victory where others walk in defeat.

So, the next time you face a giant in your life, remember David. Don’t focus on the size of the giant; focus on the size of your God. Don’t see yourself as a victim of your circumstances; see yourself as a victor in Christ. And when you do, you’ll see the invisible, believe the impossible, and achieve the extraordinary. Your awareness is your access to God’s limitless possibilities.

That’s the end of my message today. I hope it has encouraged and inspired you to see the invisible and believe in the power of faith and awareness. Thank you for listening, and may God bless you on your journey of faith and purpose.

Perception of the Invisible (Continued)

handmaid and tells Abram to get rid of Hagar and her son Ishmael. And so, early one morning, Abram gives Hagar some bread and a bottle of water and sends her and Ishmael away into the wilderness.

Now, Hagar finds herself in a dire situation. She’s in the wilderness with a young child, and their water supply is running out. In her distress, she places Ishmael under a bush, a little distance away from her, and she sits down and weeps. She’s convinced that she and her son are going to die of thirst.

But here’s the beautiful part of the story: God hears the cry of Ishmael. Even though Ishmael was not the promised child, God had a plan for him too. The angel of the Lord appears to Hagar and says, “Fear not, for God has heard the voice of the lad where he is.” The angel instructs Hagar to arise, lift up the lad, and hold him in her hand, for God will make him a great nation.

Now, what’s remarkable about this story is that Hagar was in the presence of God’s provision, but she couldn’t see it because she was focused on her problem. She couldn’t see the well of water that was right there beside her. But God, in His mercy, opened her eyes to see what was already there.

In that moment, Hagar’s awareness aligned with God’s reality, and she saw the invisible truth: God’s provision was right there with her in the wilderness. She filled the bottle with water and gave it to her son to drink, and they were saved.

So often in life, we are like Hagar. We’re facing difficult situations, and we can’t see the solutions because we’re so focused on our problems. But just like Hagar, God is right there with us, ready to open our eyes to His provision, His guidance, and His presence.

So, if you find yourself in a wilderness, facing a seemingly impossible situation, remember Hagar. Ask God to open your eyes to the invisible truth that He is with you and that His provision is right there beside you. Trust in His promises, and you’ll find the solutions and resources you need.

In conclusion, the key to accessing the invisible resources of God is awareness. When you become aware of His presence, His promises, and His power, you’ll see opportunities where others see obstacles, and you’ll walk in victory where others walk in defeat.

Abram Grieved

With my son, send them away, and the Bible says Abram was grieved because of Sarah’s words. You wasn’t grieved when she talked to you the first time. Don’t start grieving now, brother, just how that works, yo, best day.

Following the Flesh

Following, following the flesh is going to be your best day; your last day is going to be your worst day. God said, don’t let it trouble you concerning the lad. Do what your wife has said. He gave him a Lo. He gave her his handmaid and his son, who was probably about 13 years old, a bottle of water, and a loaf of bread and sent him out into the Wilderness. The Wilderness is not sure with for us, y’all go to Israel, you will see that the Wilderness is the desert. When you’re in the desert, and you’re a woman with a 13-year-old son, and you run out of water, guess what she did? She lifted up her voice and wept.

The Angel’s Question

Then the angel of the Lord called under Hagar out of heaven and said, “What AI the Hagar?” That is one of the funniest, like, are you kidding me? What kind of question is that? “What you hey, Hagar, what you crying about?” “I’m a woman in the desert with my 13-year-old son, we out of water, that’s what I’m crying about.” And then he said, “Fear not, Hagar.”

God’s Response

“For God hath heard the voice of the lad where he was.” So, while Hagar was crying, Ishmael was praying. And here’s what it says, “And the Lord opened her eyes, and she saw the well of water.” You know what that tells me about The Well of water? It was already there. And I am telling you this woman could not see the water in front of her eyes because of the water that was in her eyes. And I am telling you some of you, some of us, at sometimes in our lives, we cannot see the resources that are in front of us because of the lack of resourcefulness that is in us. And our best, the best thing we can do is ask God to open our eyes and help us to see what’s already there.

Praying for Others

You want to pray for the people you love? Pray for God to open their eyes that they will see His truth. You want to pray for people you serve? Pray that God will open their eyes so they can see the truth because the truth you can’t see is a truth you can’t be. I hope this blesses you. I hope it helps you like it, share it, comment on it if you feel like it. If you don’t, I understand. It’s all good. I love you anyway. In the meantime, in between time, peace out Cub Scouts. We’ll see you in the next video.
